Pinterest Android App

UPDATE: The Pinterest app has gone live on the SlideME app store:

A comment was made that the new social site Pinterest didn't have an android app, so we decided to throw together an app taking advantage of their (very well put together) mobile website.  It's free to download, you just have to get invited to use their service (at this point).

Although I can't take credit for the content, I will say that I spent a good 20 minutes trying to make the icon look pretty...

"Lite" Old Android App

For those of you that are worried about apps that take up a ton of space I have created a lite app that is a sort of redirection of the mobile version of the site. It works well from what I have tested, but I would love to get some feedback on it. So all you Android users out there should download it and let me know.

As always it is free, and should be ad free. (Main app will be ad fee very soon too!)

Gmail CAPTCHA Issues?

Have you ever tried to set up a gmail email address on android and once you are all done it won’t sync and it keeps giving you a CAPTCHA that will not accept anything to unlock it?  Well here is the solution (Thanks drlove89:)

1. Go to this website (on a computer): https://www.google.com/accounts/UnlockCaptcha
2. Enter your email address, password, and the shown CAPTCHA.
3. Click Unlock.

That’s it. You may have to power cycle your phone to get it to work, but it clears that error.

For those of you that are wondering what a CAPTCHA is:

A CAPTCHA (/ˈkæptʃə/) is a type of challenge-response test used in computing as an attempt to ensure that the response is generated by a person.
